Do you love Captain America? We at Nehls Chevrolet do, and this month, Chevrolet launched a Captain America marketing campaign to promote its car lineup, including the super 2014 Chevy Traverse.
The result is a cute reenactment of the trailer for Captain America: Winter Soldier, played convincingly by adorable school children.
The film itself, slated for theaters on Friday, April 4, also features the 2014 Corvette Stingray. Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) is mostly associated with the Corvette in the film as she appears in the muscle car in the first 10 minutes.
“The Corvette represents technology, sophistication, intelligence, performance and beauty just like the Black Widow character,” GM’s general marketing director, Steve Tihanyi told Variety. “Being able to align the two made for a great opportunity to include the Corvette in the film.”
Still, in this latest ad from Chevrolet, the Traverse is at the center and will also have a prominent role in the movie.
“Our Chevy products are represented very well and are positioned in wonderful heroic roles and situations,” Tihanyi said.
