Impressive Chevrolet Bolt Technology Goes Beyond All-Electric Power

2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV

The all-electric 2017 Chevrolet Bolt has truly raised the bar for the entire automotive industry, offering an affordable vehicle that runs entirely on electricity, not only saving drivers money but also radically lowering their environmental impact.

The Chevrolet Bolt has an EPA-estimate range of 238 miles before it needs to be recharged, earning it the title of “Car of the Year” from Motor Trend, Green Car Journal, and more.

But that’s not all; the Chevy Bolt is also packed with all the latest tech features, making it more than just the most fuel-efficient vehicle on the road.

Available in more than one trim level, the basic edition of the Chevy Bolt comes with a rear vision camera – making every driver an expert in parking – and the Premier trim level even comes with surround vision.

The model also comes with an innovative one-pedal driving system, which allows you to slow down by simply easing off the pedal, increasing your fuel efficiency and further and getting the most from your stored charge.

The New Chevy Bolt EV Concept: Affordable Green Technology

Chevy Bolt EV Concept

There have been a lot of recent innovations in terms of alternative-energy vehicles. The only problem is that green technology isn’t usually affordable – until now, that is. Chevy recently announced they would be putting the new Bolt EV into production, set to hit the market sometime next year.

According to Fortune magazine, this wouldn’t be such a big deal if Chevy wasn’t aiming to sell it for under $30,000. That’s right: Chevy is aiming to bring alternative-energy technology to everyone that wants it, not just the wealthy.

Then new Chevy Bolt EV Concept has a 200 mile range and fast-charging capabilities. The new all-electric model can go from 0-100% charge in approximately 45 minutes. It also features such things as low-drag aluminum wheels, an advanced lithium-ion battery pack, and an open-glass design. Instead of a traditional roof, the Bolt features a lightweight and high-durability glass window.

Chevy isn’t skimping on the high-tech features either. The new model is set to have a 10-inch diagonal screen, as well as the Bolt Connect app. By offering high-quality engineering and state-of-the-art technology at such an affordable price, going green is easier than ever.
