The historic Jefferson Railway is bringing a fun Halloween attraction to you this October. This is the 15th year in a row that the Runaway Fright Train has been serving thrills to guests in the Jefferson area, taking visitors on a wild scare fest through the Big Cypress Bayou. You won’t want to miss this 40-minute-long attraction, running every Friday and Saturday in October. The flyer says the event is for all ages, but beware—the Runaway Fright Train is not for the faint of heart!

The train will take you through the “Haunting of the Black Bayou,” where you’ll travel through the dark woods and bayous of Jefferson, Texas to see spirits emerging from the wilderness to come after you. Children under 4 are free, while tickets are $16.50 plus a $2 convenience fee. Tickets can be purchased online at the Fright Train’s website. Fridays have a 7:30 and 8:30 showing, while Saturdays have 7:30, 8:30, and 9:30 times.
