Can’t get enough of technology, even when you are out on the road?
Chevrolet announced this week that they will be offering 4G LTE in its cars. This summer, Chevy will start this service with the Corvette, Impala, Malibu and Volt.
By the time the automaker rolls out its 2015 lineup, most of its American and Canadian vehicle will offer the connection.
This comes with a range of benefits for car occupants who need access on the Internet through their wireless devices.
- Each car will allow multiple devices to be connected at the same time
- Each car will act as a mobile hub for easier access to apps and other services
- Data connection speed will be quick due to collaboration between Chevrolet and AT&T
While the OnStar 4G LTE will come with an additional cost not yet known, the payoff will be worth it.
Fans can expect the Equinox, Silverado, Silverado Heavy Duty editions, Spark and Spark EV to follow the same pattern after the summer.
